Hello Green Tea, Goodbye Wrinkles.
People often ask me, out of all the benefits of green tea, which one do you treasure the most? I playfully retort, the one that keeps me looking good!
All jokes aside, green tea can greatly help fight signs of old age. Actually, it can help several different aspects that would generally be related to becoming an old fart. If your not a green tea drinker and you are interested in some of the anti-aging benefits, or even if you are already a green tea-aholic like me, this article is for you.
- Green tea gives you extra energy
If getting sluggish and lazy isn’t a part of getting old, I don’t know what is. People nowadays turn to energy drinks full of sugar to give them a jump start. Why not go with a healthy, natural choice instead, like green tea. Green tea has been proven to improve endurance while exercising to up to 25%. - It’s proven to help illnesses such a depression
They say the best cure for getting old is laughter, well if you are depressed you don’t let out many chuckles. That’s why I chose this as another reason green tea helps old age. The University of San Francisco did research that proved that the polyphenols in green tea sky rocket’s positive thoughts and improves circuitry in the brain. - What the anti-oxidents do for old age
The anti-oxidents found in green tea are known to slow down the aging process by relieving the body of any unneeded properties in the body. The anti-oxidents also rejuvenate skin tissue, which will slow down the process of getting wrinkles.
That’s just three of hundreds of examples there are that correlate green tea and fighting old age symptoms. I could go on all day long talking about these benefits (I have before, ask my wife), but for the sake of time I condensed the list.
